It was the Summer of 2020, Nic and I were just friends. I had just graduated from cosmetology instructor school and I wanted to camp to celebrate. Let’s be honest, that desire was mostly fueled by the socially restrictive time COVID 2020 was. I invited all of my friends and planned a camping trip to an adorable family camp ground. Nic and his daughter Liz were the only people to show up. We had a wonderful relaxing and carefree time together. Sometime during that trip I started to get butterflies while I watched him attend to his daughter’s needs. My kids quickly warmed up to him and he had no problem assisting them too. And to my surprise this HUNK of a man was side-eyeing me too. We spent the Summer falling in love mostly while riding his motorcycle. The rest is History 🧡
