How It All Started

It all began with sweatpants at the beach...

Tall guy meets short girl. They talk, they vibe, they laugh. At one point he tosses her his phone and the rest is history.

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Angie Adelier and Brendan Weibel
Question

Is this a multicultural wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be celebrating our love with both Western and Chinese traditions, and we're so excited for you to partake!

Question

✩ What is a Chinese Tea Ceremony?

Answer

敬茶 (jìng chá) is a vital, traditional wedding ritual where the bride and groom serve tea to their loved ones to show respect, gratitude, and to signify the merging of themselves and their families. The ceremony formally introduces the couple to said love ones, who bless their union with gifts such as gold and red envelopes (hóngbāo).

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The wedding ceremony will be conducted outdoors at their gazebo and guests will be seated on the lawn. Afterwards, we will move indoors for the rest of the wedding.

Question

✩ Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes! While there are 2 stairs leading up into the Inn itself, there is also a ramp to the side. The venue itself is primarily large open space. If you require additional accommodations, please notify the wedding coordinator for support.

Question

✩ What is the dress code?

Answer

Beat the Bride! Come in your Sunday (or black tie) best and celebrate with us in full glam!

Question

✩ Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If we've already discussed and approved, yes! Otherwise, please contact either Angie or Brendan immediately.

Question

✩ Can I bring my child?

Answer

This is a strictly 13+ wedding. Please contact Angie and Brendan immediately if you have not already discussed this with them. Any unruly guests, regardless of age, will be given one warning before they are asked to leave.

Question

Will food be offered at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering lunch around 2:30PM and cake around 4PM. Food will be available for 1-1.5 hours for guests.

Question

Will alcohol be offered at the wedding?

Answer

No, this will be a dry wedding but please enjoy adult bevvies at your own discretion! There are some great local bars, or, feel free to tailgate in the parking lot☺︎

Question

✩ I have dietary restrictions, what should I do?

Answer

Our guests are our priority and we take all dietary restrictions and allergies seriously. When RSVPing, please detail them so that we can take them into account and accommodate appropriately as possible.

Question

✩ I'm coming from out of town, where do you recommend staying?

Answer

Please see the "Lodging Options" page for local options!

Question

✩ Where can I park?

Answer

There are ~25 parking spots on site next to the venue as well as a large open gravel lot next to the venue for additional parking. Please follow the signs outside to identify where to park.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos or videos?

Answer

Yes! But please refrain from using flash.

Question

Why is Angie taking the last name "Adelier"?

Answer

"Because I like it" - Angie ☺︎

Question

✩ My question isn't listed, what should I do?

Answer

Please contact Angie or Brendan immediately with your questions and we will respond promptly☺︎

Question

Who can participate in the tea ceremony

Answer

We only have 30 minutes so we will be prioritizing designated family first, then elders (aunts uncles age or older), then cousins.
