Family members attending the ceremony: Please arrive by 12:00pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30pm.
Family Photos
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Directly following the ceremony, our photographer will be ready to capture photos of the Bride and Groom with their families.
Lunch
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Lunch will be catered by the talented kitchen team at Pups and Pints. There will be a delicious selection of dishes served buffet-style for everyone to enjoy. If anyone wishes to make a toast or give a speech, this will be the perfect time to do so!
Social Hour
2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Enjoy a casual social hour to mingle with the Bride, Groom, and your new family-in-law! Yard games and music will provide entertainment, and don't forget to visit the audio guestbook and cupcake table!
After Party
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Question
What is Pups and Pints?
Answer
Pups and Pints is a unique restaurant, bar, and dog park. Kyanne’s boss, Christina Sims, is an owner of the establishment and has so graciously allowed us to use the space to celebrate our special day! We will have the entire indoor and outdoor space reserved to ourselves until 4:00pm, at which time it will reopen to the public. There will be a few yard games set up, such as corn hole, to provide some entertainment!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We suggest that our guests wear semi-casual attire. Think relaxed yet polished—men can wear a collared shirt or a polo with dress pants, nice jeans, or khakis. Women can opt for a nice sundress, a stylish midi or maxi dress, or a blouse paired with a skirt or trousers. We are keeping things small and intimate, so we want you to be comfortable, but also camera ready! We will have a photographer around capturing every moment and want everyone to look their best. The event will be held primarily outside, so please keep the weather in mind.

Answer
Family guests attending the ceremony should arrive to the venue by 12:00pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30pm. Friends that are coming to celebrate with the bride and groom should arrive at 4:00pm.

Absolutely! We’re excited to offer lunch to all our family guests attending the ceremony. The talented kitchen team at Pups and Pints will be preparing a delicious selection of dishes, served buffet-style for everyone to enjoy.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Family guests attending the ceremony will receive two drink tickets each, which can be redeemed for any beverages, including alcoholic drinks, soda, tea, lemonade, and more. Additional beverages can be purchased separately.

Should I bring a gift?
Answer
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a contribution to our honeymoon fund.

When is the deadline to RSVP?
Answer
We kindly ask that you to submit your RSVP by July 1st, 2025. This will allow us to finalize our plans to accommodate all of our guests. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Norfolk International Airport
ORF is the closest airport located in the city of Norfolk. There are many airline options from a variety of locations for our out-of-town guests.
Hotel
Barclay Tower Suites
To accommodate our out-of-town guests, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Barclay Towers Hotel at a special group rate. Please mention the Hickman Wedding when booking and secure your room by September 26, 2025 to receive the discounted rate. There is a two-night-stay minimum and a deposit of the first night's cost is required at the time of reservation. The hotel is conveniently located approximately 13 minutes from the venue, Pups and Pints, and each room has it's own private balcony overlooking the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. All rooms include a king sized bed, kitchenette, and a full sized pull-out sofa bed.
