This hotel is just a mile from the venue and only about a three minute drive, so it is a very easy and convenient place to stay. When you call to book, simply mention the Shields/Luxemberg wedding. There are only a limited number of rooms, and with the U.S. Open happening that weekend, things are filling up quickly. We want to make sure everyone who needs a room is able to get one. If you have any questions or run into any issues while booking, please feel free to reach out to Brandon or me. Our wedding shuttle will be picking up from this hotel, which makes it the most comfortable and convenient option for the weekend.

What’s the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome but not required. Feel free to dress in your best formalwear; a suit or a long cocktail dress is perfect!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at 6:00 PM for the wedding. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, so arriving 15–20 minutes early will give you time to find your seat and get settled. If you’ll be taking the shuttle, we’ll be sharing pickup times soon!

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?
Answer
Yes, the shuttle will be running from Shorewood Inn to the venue, as well as from our VRBO in New Suffolk as needed. We will share exact pickup times closer to the big day!

Are there other events happening besides the wedding?
Answer
The wedding is the main (and only) event of the weekend. No welcome dinner or brunch this time, so all the excitement will be in one amazing celebration. We can’t wait to party with you!
