We're getting married...
From the early years at École acadienne de Pomquet of being best friends to becoming high school sweethearts. We then went on to university, both earning our degrees and both became teachers. Life has led us to where we've always dreamed of - along came our first little love Declan, and our four legged gal, Rielly. Since then, our family has grown with two more boys, Keenan and Beckett keeping us busy, laughing, and occasionally questioning our sanity. Now, we’re both teaching at the very school where our own story began—and our oldest son, Declan just started there this September. Our lives have become fun, chaotic and so full of love over the past couple years and we wouldn't have had it any other way. Through it all, we’ve realized life is sweeter when shared—especially with the ones you love most. We're thankful for all those in our lives that have been there for our family in every single way and we can't wait to celebrate with you all this summer!

- We will be outdoors for the ceremony - take a peak at the weather before coming to see if you need to add an extra layer. - For those wearing heels, we will be on our land and the stiletto styled heels may dig into the grass, just an FYI. - Parking will be to the left at the top of the hill, and ceremony to the right. People will be there to guide you in the parking area!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We’d love to celebrate with you! We kindly ask that all RSVPs be received no later than March 27th, 2026 to allow us to finalize our arrangements! Thank you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is taking place at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early so everyone can park/be seated before the ceremony begins!

Can I bring a date?

We love that you want to share the day with someone special! Please note that only the guests named on your invitation or any invited plus-ones, can join the fun. Thanks for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

We adore all the little ones in our lives! For our wedding day, we’re able to welcome only children in the immediate family or those involved in our wedding day plans. We appreciate your understanding!

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, what do I do?
Answer
Once you've RSVP'd, you will see there is a space to add your dietary restrictions or allergies - write them in there and we’ll reach out to accommodate :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
You’ll find parking in the field next to the ceremony, with helpers to guide you! And yes, lots of parking space available at the reception location!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is semi-formal. The ceremony will be outdoors on our piece land at the top of the hill, so please check the weather and dress accordingly!

Is there transportation after the reception?
Answer
While there is no direct transportation after the reception, cabs will be available throughout the evening and after the reception. Please be sure to plan a safe way home if you plan to have drinks! We’ve included a few local Antigonish cab numbers below to help and will have them displayed at the reception as well... How do I get to the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will take place up the hill to the right of 387 Pomquet Monks Head Rd. You can use this address to get to the location in Maps. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you up the hill, where people will direct you to park. Not far from where you park will be where the ceremony will take place. Find a seat and we can't wait to see you!
