Jaco
Bosman - I DO Crew | MC
Love for rugby and mutual friends brought Charl and Jaco together. On the field they got to know each other, but it's off the field where they started to build a true friendship. A man of integrity, a man of standards and a man who treasures every moment and opportunity in life. Jaco is the type of person who builds strong foundations and is never too afraid to say what he thinks. He is the friend you can call at 3 o'clock in the morning and he’ll be right there with a car key and a plan to help you with whatever you need.
Steph
Bosman - I DO Crew
Charl got to know Steph as his friends' neighbour and resonated with her from the moment they met. In a world full of negativity, she is a ray of sunshine. She lives in a world full of rainbows and fairy tales. In her eyes, every person and every moment is filled with good; and love. Her persistent positive outlook is infectious. Every person she meets is treated with the utmost respect and love, a quality Charl admires and strives for in his everyday life. She always has something new to try when he visits whether it be ice cream with olive oil or a marmite burger. Every one of them better than the previous.
Sean
Bosman - I DO Crew
Sean and Charl met at medical school. He was late for the practical and couldn’t find his group, so he joined that of Charl's. To this day, Charl remains eternally grateful to whatever caused his tardiness that day. In Sean he met a friend who enjoys life much the way he does – carefree. They spent most of their youth (ish) years just living without too much care, enjoying all the small things and making memories. There is not enough space to put it all down on paper, but Charl is sure they’ll come out somewhere during the celebrations. There is never an adventure to small or too big for Sean. He is a true YES man, and more often than not those YES’s have provided them both with memories that will stand the test of time.
Kerry
Bosman - I DO Crew
Kerry and Charl met during an interview process for the same job – naturally Kerry got it. Charl joined her a couple of months later and the rest as they say, is history. Working in their field is often compared with being in the military (if you know, you know). Nothing can quite build a bond as much as the trenches they found themselves in. Initial weekly coffees to decompress the frustration at work rapidly evolved into a space where they both found themselves cheering each other on in all spheres of their lives. What Charl admires most about Kerry is her compassion for those around her. She always puts others first, never wavering in her support. Selflessly making sure that everyone around her can thrive and become the best they can be.
Hermann
Vd Walt - I DO Crew
Hermann and Ryno met in 2019 at a flying school in Klerksdorp. Hermann's naughty sense of humor quickly paved the way for a good friendship. Known for being "trigger happy" and a "busy body", you'd have to halt Hermann before things get out of hand. Hermann taught Ryno everything about flying and visits are filled with discussions of politics, "conspiracy theories", flying, guns and endless arguments about the correct way to light a barbecue fire.
Alishia
Vd Walt - I DO Crew
Ryno met Ali (Hermann's girlfriend at the time) in Klerksdorp in an airplane hanger at a pilots function. Alishia is a kind person and you just have to stop her from wanting to save, take in and house all of the cats in the world. Also known as Ryno's "gossip" buddy, especially when it comes to discussing Hermann and Charl :) Ryno and Alishia immediately resonated in each other's company and became instant friends from the word go. She is the epitome of a gentle soul.
Jaco
Vd Walt - I DO Crew
Jaco and Ryno attended the same school, but only became friends after school. Jaco is someone you can call on when you are in trouble and who is always willing to help out. Every drink is always "the last" drink and he must always stay for "just one more". Jaco has a good heart and also likes to debate about weapons and politics.
Nadia
Vd Walt - I DO Crew
A true definition of the term "happy go lucky". Always excited about the little things in life.A little obsessed with "glitter" and the latest beauty technology, but that's part of the package. Nadia is a bundle of sparkle and someone to share your biggest secrets with. When Ryno met Nadia it felt like they had known each other for decades.
Elmarie
Lady Master of Ceremonies
Elmarie and Ryno first made contact in 2002 when she started working at his family's business. From a tender age they became best friends, in actual fact, from the moment they met they knew they'd become best friends. Shortly after, Elmarie left to go work in England and keeping in touch was done via posting letters to each other - years before email and whatsapp became the norm. Elmarie's sense of humor is contagious and carried Ryno through many difficult times. She knows how to laugh at herself especially when courage fails between roadworks on the highway ;-)

CAN I BRING MY OWN DRINKS?

In short, No ! Featherwood Farm is a licensed facility and holds a liquor licence. Penalties will be levied to US - your hosts, if any alcohol or soft drinks are brought in. Please spare US the hassle - thank you.

MAY I TAKE A CANDLE OR FLOWERS HOME AS A SOUVENIR?
