Back sometime in 2021, Bonnie showed up to the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra rehearsal at the First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson. It was there she got to meet the members of the orchestra, all who were still navigating how to operate during a global pandemic. Bonnie was happily welcomed as a member of the magical musical community that lives in Lake Jackson, and she had no idea that playing right across from her, leading the trumpet section would be her love, Justin. It was small interactions between teaching in Brazosport ISD and playing in the Symphony orchestra that brought both of them together, each time piquing more interest from one another. During this time there were numerous new music teachers to the district; they would all become a close-knit friends group. Our best friends and newly adopted family were the catalyst for a budding romance between Justin and Bonnie. Soon enough they would be inseparable. Two and a half years of adventures seemed to go by quickly, and before they knew it, they got engaged! From Bonnie and Justin, we would like to thank everyone for your love and support throughout our lives together. The people in our communities hold a strong place of love within our hearts and this relationship and soon-to-be marriage would not be the same without you all. See you on the 6th!
