Our story, His plan

Ethan and Emma were both 2024 summer interns at KLN Family Brands in Perham, MN. What began as co-workers quickly grew into something special. While they were in completely different roles, their work intertwined with each other, creating a friendship. When the summer ended and as their romance started, Ethan accepted a full-time position at KLN and Emma returned to the University of Northwestern – St. Paul to complete her final semester of college. Even through the distance, they both made efforts to see each other regularly! Before her December graduation, Emma accepted a full-time position at KLN as well. Now Ethan and Emma live and work in the same county! The following summer, Ethan proposed at his alma mater, St. John’s University on a scenic chapel walk. They cannot wait to get married and celebrate with everyone they love most!

Answer

We have only accommodated for the names on your RSVP. However, please reach out to Ethan and Emma in regard to a plus-one if you would like another seat!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our plan is to have the ceremony outdoors with an indoor reception. In case of inclement weather we will be indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the island by 3:40pm for the 4:00pm ceremony. Between parking and the ceremony location, there is a mild walk. There is an option to ride a golf-cart instead after parking!

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests dress in dressy casual wedding attire. Please avoid wearing white, as it is reserved for the bride to honor the formality of the occasion. We would love to see polished semi-formal looks without the need for a suit and tie. Wear grass and gravel friendly footwear, heels are not recommended. Thank you for dressing to celebrate with us!

Question

Is this a BYOB wedding?

Answer

Alcohol will be available to purchase at the reception along with complimentary kegs. Please honor the venue and only consume alcohol where permitted! We ask that you drink responsibly.
