It all began with a swipe on Stir back on August 16, 2024. From their very first conversation, Bryanna and Phillip’s first impressions of each other were nothing short of endearing. They connected through similar stories being single parents to their boy’s. Soon after they matched, Phillip asked Bryanna to meet over some coffee at Side Street Cafe in Newbury Park, CA. Over that coffee they discovered more of each other's personalities, an unexpected shared tie to Hawaii, and their faith. This brought their connection to a closer level that began a beautiful relationship they each longed for. Over the next year, that connection only deepened. They have enjoyed many moments together to include short hiking around Ventura County, cheering on the Dodgers, wandering the breathtaking trails of Yosemite, exploring the California coast, and attending countless weddings together and being the life on the dance floor just to name a few. Beyond all the adventures, what truly brought them closer was their shared faith. Through prayer, worship, and honest conversations, Phillip and Bryanna have grown stronger spiritually together—building a relationship rooted in grace, trust, and a love that seeks God first. More than anything, what united them was the joy of blending their lives—and hearts—around their two boys, Theodore and Andrew. On June 22, 2025, Phillip proposed to Bryanna at Corriganville Park in Bryanna's hometown, with both of their sons by their side to share the moment. It was the moment two families officially began to be one together. Today, Bryanna and Phillip are overjoyed to celebrate this new chapter with all of you. They look forward to continuing to walk in faith together, to grow as partners and as a family, and to build a future anchored in love, laughter, and God’s grace.
