Bill and Erin’s story began in elementary school on the school bus and CCD carpool. Bill was somewhat of a bully and Erin was admittedly overly sensitive. In their teen years, their paths crossed again in the St. Ferdinand teen choir and when Bill dated Erin’s friend. Fast forward twenty plus years, and Bill and Erin’s paths crossed again at Victory Family Church. Bill asked Erin if she wanted to get coffee to catch up. Erin loves coffee, so she said sure. Both of them expected nothing more than reminiscing about the good ole days over a great cup of joe. After that first date, Bill asked Erin out the next day and surprised her with roller skating. Anyone who knows Erin would cringe at this for many reasons. But they went, they laughed, and they hung out watching funny movies and talked until midnight. Erin’s friends warned her that Bill was a serial bachelor and would never get married. Erin was thrilled because she definitely NEVER wanted to get married again. Two weeks into their courtship, Bill told Erin he was going to marry her. Once Bill learned that Erin could cook and get socks really white, he was hooked. He proposed in her kitchen on the way to a motorcycle race on May 6th. Erin said yes and has thanked God every day since for her redeeming love. The couple can’t wait to get started writing a love story for the ages.
