We first crossed paths almost two years ago on a dating app. Though the connection felt special, we were living in two different countries and decided not to continue talking . Life moved on- or so we thought. Fate had other plans. Months later, Bevin's parents came across my profile on a marriage proposal website and reached out. we reconnected, this time with a sense of timing that felt just right. We still laugh and say we should have started back when we first met, but looking back, everything happened exactly as it was meant to. Our first meeting was in Toronto, where we spent an entire day together, hopping between activities and making memories. Our first date was at a cozy little dosa place- Bevi, ever the Braveheart, ordered the spiciest dosa on the menu. Let's just say.....he broke a sweat (literally) but it made for a hilarious and unforgettable start. From there, our journey took us to New York during Christmas. Later, I went to Texas, where I was welcomed into his world and met his incredible family and friends . Then came the moment that changed everything: he flew to my city and proposed in my comfort Zone, surrounded by everything familiar to me. I said yes- loudly, confidently, and without a second thought. It was the easiest yes of my life. Now, I'm counting down the days until I get to be called Mrs. Bevin, and I couldn't be more excited for the lifetime of love, laughter, and dosa adventures that await us.
