We met in 2015 while working at Sunny Point Cafe. There was an instant connection, and even though we tried to hide it, everyone around us knew that it was going to happen eventually. During our first flirty summer, when not at work, we were spending most of our free time with our friends floating on the French Broad River, always with our inner tubes attached to one another, and always wondering who was going to make the first move. Finally at Michelle & Charlie’s 4th of July party, there were fireworks…fireworks of LOVE! We stayed up all night into the morning talking, laughing and connecting. There was no doubt about it, we were hooked. The next 9 years were full of the same laughter and excitement that we had always seemed to spark in one another. The proposal was in our driveway on July 20th, with a stunning antique diamond ring and happy blessings from our families and loved ones. Sharing our wedding day with those near and dear to us will be the greatest and most anticipated moment of our lives. We can’t wait to experience even more laughter and rejoicing with you all.

Travel Note
There are a ton of local homes, cabins, tiny homes, and RV’s out there to book for the night as well. Don’t forget to search AirBnB and VRBO for local listings near 88 Ben’s Cove Rd., Candler, NC 28715. The main road to search on would be Pisgah Highway in Candler, NC 28715.
Please RSVP by July 23.
Please leave the kiddos at home. There is a pond, a river, and adult festivities happening that the children should avoid. Better safe than sorry!
Seeing how the wedding is in August in the mountains, we are expecting daylight temperatures to be in the 80’s and evening temperatures to be in the 60’s. Dress to impress, however the ceremony and celebrating will be outdoors in grassy areas. Slacks, sundresses, comfy shoes, and a big smile!
If you let us know by July 23rd, we don’t see why not! Just give us a heads up.
We do! And cabins as well! Please check the “Travel” section on our website.
Unfortunately, you are responsible for your own transportation.
The only wedding registry we have is here on this website. It is for our Honeymoon fund. We will not be accepting gifts for the wedding. We have gathered enough stuff over the years. We really would just prefer a romantic getaway. Anything helps!
