When you are alone sometimes you may have looked up at the stars and wondered if your future partner were looking at the same constellation at that very moment... well you may not have thought that you were each seeing completely different sets of constellations in completely opposite seasons. Despite Araranguá, Santa Catarina, Brazil and Framingham, Massachusettes, USA are 4299 miles apart we found eachother and although we came from different cultures, native languages, hemispheres, we found that the values our families taught us transcended all of that and found more and more we had in common. We first matched on a dating app and were texting for a few hours before Ben asked if she wanted to speak on the phone. We spent the next three hours talking about our family histories and sharing our life experiences. Later that week we got dinner for our first date at a little hole-in-the-wall in Allston and have seen eachother every day since, as time went by…. I like you became i love you , I love you became i want to spend the rest of my life with you! And here we are : ) We continue to look forward for all that God has in store for us and to sharing this special day with our closest friends and family.
