Our Story

The Wedding Website of Erica Hesse and Ben Mooney

Our journey began with a chance meeting and quickly grew into something special, filled with laughter, adventures, and unforgettable memories. We met in the summer of ‘22 while working in Maine. Our first interaction with each other happened after I had to drive Ben to urgent care after getting a fish hook stuck in his finger. After two years of being together and three years of long distance, we are finally tying the knot! As we prepare to say, "I do," we're excited to celebrate this next chapter our loved ones and look forward to the future ahead.

Ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather permitting, followed by reception which will be held indoors.

We recommend flying into either London Heathrow airport or Bristol international airport. If choosing to travel by train from London to Cheltenham: it's about a 2 hour train ride. If choosing to travel by train from Bristol to cheltenham: it's about 45 mins. There also options to travel by Bus and the travel time is the same as the train.

In order to travel to the UK, you must have a valid passport and US citizens need to also apply for an ETAS. An ETAS is a simple travel document that allows visitors to travel within the UK, it takes about 20 minutes to apply for, costs about 20$.

Please arrive 30 minutes before our ceremony to ensure everyone has time to be seated. Our ceremony will be held at 2:00pm.
