Our Story
Becoming The Ayandeles
It all started at a baby shower in 2017. Sandra had recently moved to Chicago and was attending a friend's baby shower when she met Shaggy—someone she’d heard many fun stories about but had never met in person. From the moment their eyes met, there was an undeniable spark. Shaggy couldn’t take his eyes off her, and Sandra couldn’t help but feel like they’d known each other for awhile. Shaggy made sure to stay close and even “borrowed” her cup—anything to strike up a conversation. Our connection was instant, and by the next day, what started as simple texts to check in on Sandra who wasn't well, quickly turned into long, heartfelt conversations. The relationship blossomed naturally—full of laughter and shared adventures. Fast forward to Sept 2023, with the NYC skyline glowing behind us on a rooftop, Shaggy proposed. As we prepare for the next adventure together, we’re filled with gratitude for the love we’ve found in each other and excitement for all the memories yet to come.
