Rehearsal

3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Dress nicer than you would on a normal day. Don't dress as nice as you would for the wedding.

We're going to make you practice walking to a spot, standing in that spot for a while, and then walking away from that spot. There will be a nice lady there to tell you where to stand and what to do with your hands. Please note that this event is only for members of our wedding party. If you're a guest, feel free to practice your role (e.g., sitting, eating, crying, dancing) on your own time.

Rehearsal Dinner

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Wear what you wore to the rehearsal, plus maybe a bib if you're messy.

Now that you've practiced walking and standing, we'll give you free food and drinks until you can't walk or stand anymore. The Rehearsal Dinner will be in the Brick Room at Pond Farm Brewing. We'll have a variety of family-style apps and main courses, plus a great selection of Pond Farm's locally brewed beers.

Wedding and Reception

3:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Dress how you normally would for a wedding! If you've never been to a wedding, do a Google image search for "what to wear to a wedding" and buy whatever those people are wearing. (The average high for April 13th in Mill Valley is 62 degrees , so you may want to bring a jacket for the latter portion of the evening.)

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m., so feel free to show up a little early and find a comfortable place to sit. (Also, parking is somewhat limited, so you may want to factor in some extra time to find a spot and walk to the venue.) After we both say "I do," you'll have an hour or so to grab some cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the front patio before we transition to a family-style dinner inside. After dinner, we'll force a few of our unlucky friends and family members into saying nice things about us. Then, as soon as they're done, we'll dance the night away (at least until 10:00 p.m., when the venue closes; don't worry, there are a couple of nearby watering holes where you can keep the party going).
