It was just another Friday evening, as Becca headed to kick it at the local brewery after work in late fall 2018. But there was a new face around the fire outside. As Becca approached the bench, scanning for an empty place to sit, she noticed there was a space to right next to this new face. She flashed him a smile and he reciprocated with a warm smile that seemed to travel into his eyes speaking a welcome invitation. Little did either of them know how this meeting would change the trajectory of both of their lives. Seven years later, after life lead them down separate paths of expansive growth, they began to reconnect. They found that the sparks that flew back then had only turned into deeper, glowing embers of a more stable and rich tone. Embers waiting to reignite and take off into the blaze that has now brought us together to celebrate this union.

Wear casual, comfortable clothing with good shoes for walking/hiking. Also recommended to bring a water bottle. We will be up there for about an hour and the drive is about 40 mins one way.
The wedding party and immediate family are invited to come and gather wildflowers at Mary's Peak in preparation for the big day. We will meet at Martin Luther King park in Corvallis for carpooling, to go up the mountain together. If anyone gets car sick please let us know so we can make sure we have enough front seats for those who need it!

This event and the reception will be semi-formal to casual. Flats or platforms recommended over heels due to the garden and grassy area setting.

We ask that guests arrive by 5:15 to ensure everyone is settled for a timely start. After the ceremony, the wedding party and immediate family will be asked to stay in the Rose Garden for some photos while the rest of the guests are welcome to continue on to the reception venue for beverages and hour' devours.
