Swiping right …..

March 26, 2021

Marcus and Becca met on the dating app - Hinge! Neither of them were sure if they were looking for a serious relationship at the time.

The first date …..

May 2, 2021

The first time Marcus and Becca met they got Fuzzy’s tacos. Marcus got a margarita but was too nervous to drink it! The *actual* first date was a picnic at Rolland Moore park. Marcus got Becca flowers, and salads for them both. Becca later learned that Marcus actually hates salads.

The first trip …..

July 29, 2021

Marcus planned their first trip together before they became an official couple - the Great Sand Dunes in Alamosa, CO! Becca had no clue where they were headed until they arrived at the hotel he had booked for the trip. They went sand sledding on the Great Sand Dunes, bowling, and swimming too! Marcus and Becca have taken many other trips together, including Philadelphia, PA - Woodstock, GA - Grand Junction, CO - New Bern, NC - St. Augustine, FL and Delta, UT

The relationship begins…..

August 11, 2021

Marcus asked Becca to be his girlfriend! The rest is history :)

The proposal…..

September 2, 2023

Marcus had told Becca that they were going wedding crashing in Estes Park, and that an old coworker of his at the YMCA was going to sneak them in, which was just a ruse of course. He planned for roughly 6 months to coordinate close friends and family to be there and everything went off without a hitch - besides Becca being a little late (as usual).

FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm to have time to get seated for the ceremony and take pictures if they would like. The ceremony will be starting at 4:00pm

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You are not required to bring a plus one, but if you decide that you want to bring someone with you please RSVP them as well by June 01 to give us an accurate head count. If you have any questions about this, or have trouble adding a plus one to your RSVP, please message the bride or groom directly.

Question

Are there any items that I can’t bring?

Answer

The following is a list of items that can lead to a headache (and possible fine) for us when it comes to cleanup. - alcohol bottles, food wrappers, or any outside food/beverage items (this goes for the parking lot as well) - weapons - silly string, streamers, confetti, rose petals

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we ask that all guests arrive in formal attire. No jeans, t-shirts, yoga pants, baseball caps, cocktail dresses, or cowboy boots/hats please! For the ladies - This is an indoor/outdoor event, please use caution with stiletto style heels as they may sink into the grass.

Question

What about food & drink?

Answer

Our menu is as follows: Appetizers - caprese salad cups & ricotta beef meatballs Entrees - penne bolognese marinara & cavatappi roasted garlic chicken alfredo Sides - green beans w/ lemon oil and sumac, caesar salad & garlic bread If you have any dietary accommodations please let us know by the RSVP deadline. There will be a full bar onsite from 4:30-9:00 and beverages will be partially hosted. The bride & groom have each picked out a signature cocktail that will be available for guests to order.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue, but the parking lot is ours for the night! This means that vehicles can be left overnight as long as they are collected before 10:00am the following morning.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, all children under the age of 10 will need to skip the ceremony - they are welcome to the reception though! There are a select few exceptions, but must be approved ahead of time directly by the bride & groom!

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Yes, there is an outside smoking section available towards the back of the property. All smoking (tobacco or otherwise) must take place there. With that being said, please be mindful of the other guests.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We are planning to have the ceremony recorded on a live-stream for those who cannot be present. The link will be provided here soon. If you already RSVP’d and something comes up, please let us know as soon as possible! We can make changes to the final headcount (and pricing) all the way up until a few weeks out from the big day!

Question

Do I have to stay at one of the hotels listed?

Answer

Of course not! Airbnb, motel, staying with friends….. it’s all free game!
