Our Genesis Story
We first met while walking down the aisle together at a friend’s wedding. Though she didn’t know it at the time, Adam was instantly taken with Evelyn. Not long after that day, we began talking, and by December 2024, we were on our first date. It didn’t take long for us to fall deeply in love. After a summer spent growing closer and surer of one another, Adam proposed to Evelyn on September 20, 2025. We are overjoyed to begin this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day surrounded by all of you.

Most of the park is completely free to wander and explore, so it’s an easy, relaxed way to enjoy San Diego without needing big plans or tickets.

Answer
Yes, parking is located close to the venue. Please use the nearby DMV parking lot (address given below) or surrounding metered street parking. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to park. San Diego DMV: 3960 Normal St, San Diego, CA 92103 (free parking)

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors, with the reception to follow inside. Early summer evenings in San Diego are lovely, but we suggest bringing a light layer just in case.

It’s sunny, it’s mild, and it’s basically begging you to celebrate with us—San Diego in June knows how to party!

Is there a dress code?

We’d love for everyone to dress in their “Sunday best.” Think polished and a little extra special, with summer colors, sundresses, casual suits, and outfits that feel fresh and celebratory. This is a joyful day, so wear something that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and festive! One small venue request: please no glitter. Thank you for helping us keep the space beautiful!
