7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Please join us the evening before the wedding to toast to the weekend! We'll be serving beer, wine, and a few savory bites, along with a slice of something sweet, our favorite Maine blueberry pie. Kindly note: This will be a light reception with snacks and drinks, so we suggest enjoying dinner beforehand. Attire: Coastal Chic Think summer dresses, flowy fabrics, dressy jumpsuits or anything you might wear to a dinner al fresco on the coast. For men, khakis, lightweight dress pants, linen, button-down shirts, and optional blazers, ties are not necessary. Dressy sandals, espadrilles, or loafers are all welcome.

We plan to spend as much time outside as possible! Our Friday night welcome event and Saturday cocktail hour will be outside. Our Saturday reception will be under a tent.
Summer in Maine is absolutely lovely—especially by the ocean! You can expect average highs in August to be between 74–84°F. Evenings tend to be a touch cooler, with lows in the mid-60s, so we recommend bringing an extra layer, especially for Friday evening.
We strongly recommend getting a rental car since Uber/Lyft are not readily available. This will allow you to easily explore the area and enjoy what Maine has to offer. All of our wedding festivities will be held at French's Point. We will be providing transportation from the recommended hotels on Saturday.
Yes! There’s plenty of parking available at the estate. When you arrive, just follow the signs for Guest Parking, located to the right of the Retreat House.

Enjoy the cute coastal town of Belfast neighboring Stockton Springs! Just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the Belfast Harbor Inn (there is a foot-bridge / pathway that follows the shoreline & will take you right into the town). Visitors can explore Belfast's eclectic collections in artist studios and galleries, stroll the historic downtown district and harborwalk, try local produce and other products at farmers markets, or grab a lobster roll at Nautilus Seafood & Grill.
Just down the road from French's Point, this park has a long stretch of sandy beach with two miles of trails through fields, woodlands and marsh.
Acadia National Park is home to some of the absolute best hiking in Maine. It is also located in one of the best travel locations in the state, Bar Harbor. For any guests who are looking to explore Maine, we recommend tacking on a visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park either before or after our wedding weekend. We promise you will not regret it!
