In November of 2023, we met on a Christian dating app called “Upward” (I know, a true modern-day love story). It didn’t take much time to realize we shared the same values, humor, and love for psychological topics. By January 2024, we realized that although we enjoyed spending time with each other, we both needed to focus on our relationship with God...separately. We surrendered the connection, knowing that if it was truly God’s will, we would find our way back to each other. Throughout 2024, we both went through deep spiritual healing and connection with Jesus, which yielded hearts that were ready for love and long-term commitment. We’d check in with each other occasionally, share how the Lord was working in our lives, and continue praying for each other. Towards the end of 2024, we felt the Lord leading us into a relationship with one another, and now moving us towards marriage. We are so thankful for this journey and God’s faithfulness in bringing us back together, this time, for life! We are so excited to celebrate our union with the people we know and love!
