After talking nonstop for almost two weeks, Danny asked Dani to meet at The Parlor for a drink after work. Unsure if it was a date drink or not, Dani asked: "Is this a date or date adjacent?" Danny opted for "date adjacent," which wasn't particularly illuminating for either of them. The "date-adjacent" drink turned into a long night of talking, and they went on their first not-adjacent date the next day.

You never really know someone until you travel with them, and Danny and Dani went make-or-break by going international! They took in London, day-tripped to the Cotswolds, and caught the tail end of the Tulip Festival in Amsterdam. About halfway through the trip, however, they both got food poisoning. It wasn't exactly the trip they'd expected, but if they were still in love after being sick together in "quaint" European hotel rooms, they figured this relationship was something special.

A story about a lost AirPod lured Dani down to the beach at her parents' lake house, where Danny dropped to one knee and proposed. Dani's sister and brother-in-law hid behind some nearby trees to capture the moment.
