The airport is approximately an hour and a half from Banff. Ubers and shuttles to and from the Fairmont Banff Springs will be available. All activities are near the hotel and renting a car is not necessary.

Turo

As with everything in the supply chain, there is a severe rental car shortage across North America. When Jamie and I visited Alberta in the far we discovered that the typical rental car places at the airport were extremely expensive. Jamie and I used the "Turo" app on our phone which is essentially AirBnB for cars and rented a car for half the price. We had a great experience and suggest if you are renting a car to check out Turo (Faheed is wonderful) or if you have a Costco membership renting a car through Costco. Turo and Costco are way more affordable options than the typical rental companies and have been highly recommended by our vendors. Feed free to reach out to Jamie or I if you have any questions.

It is an understatement to say that Jamie and I had the best sleep of our lives at the Lake Louise Inn! The beds are super comfortable and the dark and quiet makes for a wonderful night sleep!
