Conner didn't know this at the time, but 13-year-old Bailey had invited all her friends to youth group so they could see the cute worship leader. He was in his prime "Justin Bieber" era so, naturally, any 13 year old girl would be head over heels. But, despite having her eyes set on Conner for years, the crush soon faded away.
Conner had just come back from college at Hillsong, and Bailey had started college at Life Pacific University. As the two of them got more involved in their Young Adults ministry at church, they started becoming friends. In fact, Conner was trying to be a good friend and help Bailey figure out her love life by giving relationship advice. The advice did not work.
Over time, Conner and Bailey realized that the bond they shared was what they had been looking for the whole time. Bailey's dream of dating the worship leader was finally coming true. And it was legal!!!
Conner's 23rd birthday was coming up and Bailey knew she had to impress him. She spent hours trying to plan the perfect date. The night began at the Orange County Mining Company with a delicious dinner. Then, Conner and Bailey headed over to Don Churros for a sweet treat. To end the night, they sat in Conner's truck in a Taco Bell parking lot (listening to Morgan Wallen) watching the Disneyland fireworks. They had no idea that, three years later, this very spot (Orange County Mining Company) would become the place where they say 'yes' to forever.
After a few years of dating, Conner and Bailey knew they were on the same page about getting married. They had everything planned out - engaged in 2025 and married in 2026. But Conner just could not wait. Conner set up his elaborate plan, getting all of Bailey's family and friends to trick her into thinking they were taking their yearly family photos. And on a beautiful 95 degree day in August, Conner surprised Bailey by proposing in a redwood grove. She said yes (obviously).
Conner and Bailey have been praying for their wedding day and, ultimately, for their marriage for what feels like forever. They are beyond excited to share this special moment with all of their favorite people. So, pray alongside them and join them in getting STOKED for their big day!
