Where it all began...

An instant connection

It is not an everyday occurrence to almost instantly connect with a random stranger over a device, but it happened for us- and we are so glad it did. After we both had just recently relocated to Denver, Colorado in hopes to begin the first few years of adulthood in an all new place, the reality set in that the once simplistic idea of making new friends and connections was certainly more challenging in a generation of digital communication and non-genuine interactions. When we first met, we were acquainted with the help of a social media platform designed to bring people together who share common interests, hobbies, and values. Who knew that what started as a simple conversation about us both being dog dads would lead to an unwavering commitment of love, trust, laughter, and of-course a lot of belly rubs for our fur babies! From the start, we developed a deep connection on so many levels with so many similarities shared between us from our music tastes, values, love of travel and the overwhelming urges to explore our world and all that it has to offer. The bond began to grow between us and the memories to follow left a lasting impression each time they were recalled. As time went on it was vividly clear to us both that the relationship we had come to build was strong but there was a hard line in the sand that was drawn to protect each other from the all well to known potential falling out that comes as a risk when transitioning from a close friendship to an intimate partnership. With a mutual respect and appreciation for the partnership we had come to build, we shared all of the adventures life has brought us. Eventually- we began to see, feel, and face the fact that together, our lives had the most meaning and happiness; in so many more ways than one, the love we share is fueled by an unconditional vow of commitment and dedication to make each other the best versions possible. As discussions of a ideal future continually swirled in our heads, the promise of forever became an undaunted quest. We are so thankful to be blessed with such amazing friends and family who have supported us and allowed us to accept the love that was right Infront of us. Our wedding ceremony is more than just a devotion of all of the tomorrows to each other, but a union of two families-groups of friends-new connections-and most importantly the celebration of two different lives being brought together surrounded by all of the people that matter to us the most.

THE ANSWERS YOU NEED

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Guests should arrive no later than 4:30pm to ensure there is plenty of time to get situated prior to the start of our event schedule.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

You know us- we are pretty easy going! But this is our wedding we’re talking about! We ask our guests to dress to impress with their finest BLACK semi-formal attire.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is set to be an intimate affair surrounded by our closest friends and family. We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only ceremony + reception. Children of our immediate family members + our guests with infants/babies have been invited and should be included in an RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Our day is set to be an intimate affair. To remain in our venues capacity limits we have accounted for only each person whom is addressed in the invitation. If there is special considerations in place, please let us know so we can work together for a solution.

Question

Will there be alcohol served during the reception?

Answer

We have partnered with one of the most highly regarded event bartenders to create an unforgettable beverage experience for our reception. We will offer three signature cocktails during the cocktail reception, champagne service after our formal dinner and a full open bar for the remainder of the evening. We do ask that guests prepare to supply their own gratuities for our bartending team who will bring their very best service skills to our event. Per NC ABC laws, outside alcohol/liquor is not allowed with our individual single day event serving permit.

Question

What is an “un-plugged” ceremony?

Answer

To ensure we can share each and every special moment with our guests, we ask that our special day be celebrated without the use of cell-phones or other devices. During the ceremony portion of our day we strongly request that no photos/video be taken as we have a team of highly trained professionals to capture every blissful moment. Following cake service please feel free to take as many photos/videos of all the action for the remainder of the evening. (Just don’t forget to post them using our hashtag! #b&cwedding2024 )

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We have chosen to forgo the traditional wedding registry and offer our guests who wish to share something special with us after tying the knot, a modern “gift-less” registry. Our website under “Registry” details exactly how to take advantage of our digital “gift-less” registry experience. But- the greatest gift we could ever receive is being able to have our most important family and friends be present with us to share all of the memories on our special day.

Question

How much fun are we talking about?

Answer

Even though our ceremony is a formal affair, we are prepared to kick off our shoes and get down on the dance floor after our cake service and champagne toasts. We’ve even made arrangements to have a full karaoke party for our guests to show us what they got- come with some songs in mind to blow us all away! We recommend bringing some more comfortable shoes to slip into once the fun begins!

Question

I didn’t get an invitation but I’d like to come. What do I do?

Answer

We certainly have a much longer list of people who we would love to have present to share our special day with- but due to venue restrictions we have had to keep our guest list one of an intimate nature. Please reach out to us directly however as we do not want anyone who wants to be able to be present not be addressed.

Question

Do I need to dress for the weather?

Answer

Our venue and schedule of events is primarily an indoor experience but our venue does have an outdoor courtyard with bistro lighting and a fire pit. It will likely be a bit chilly in the area during the time of our event, so it is recommended to be prepared with a jacket incase you would like to spend some time outside or if you get chilly!

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Studio 215 has on site private parking for all of our invites guests.
