The event will be indoors, so you’ll stay warm, but we suggest bringing a coat for photos and travel to the venue. What will the weather be like? January in Northern Italy will be chilly, with temperatures typically ranging from 30°F to 50°F (–1°C to 10°C). Expect crisp winter air and a cozy atmosphere, and if you plan to explore the nearby mountains, you might even see snow. Do I need a car? Bassano del Grappa is walkable. A rental car can be convenient only if you plan to explore nearby towns like Marostica and Asiago, or you plan to take a day trip to the mountains and admire the Dolomites. What is the best way to get to Bassano del Grappa? The closest airports are Venice Marco Polo (VCE) and Verona Villafranca (VRN). From there, Bassano is about 1-1.5 hours by car or train. Will the ceremony and reception be in the same location? Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue. Is the event indoors or outdoors? The event will be indoors. Where should I stay? We recommend staying in Bassano del Grappa, where the wedding will take place. The town offers charming hotels and B&Bs in the historic center — all within a short walk or a quick drive from the venue. Will there be alcoholic drinks? We’ve decided to celebrate with a different kind of toast — alcohol-free, but filled with joy and plenty of bubbles to celebrate together! There will be delicious mocktails and lots of flavorful options to pair with the meal. We promise there will be no shortage of taste (or laughter)!
