Across miles and oceans, Avery and Tommy found their way to one another. With family and friends from coast to coast, they invite you to join them by the sea in Massachusetts to celebrate their wedding — a day that marks not only the joining of two lives, but the coming together of two shores and two families.
5:00 pm
Shades of White
Join us for our welcome party in light, airy shades of white — think cream, beige, ivory, and linen tones. Breezy dresses, relaxed tailoring, and coastal elegance encouraged as we celebrate the start of our wedding weekend.
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Shades of Blue: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with neckties or bowties.
Join us for a black-tie celebration inspired by the sea and coastal hydrangeas. Please wear formal attire in shades of blue, from deep navy to soft sky. For the ladies, a wrap or shawl is recommended, as the evening by the water may be cool.
Flight
The best airport to fly into is Logan Airport in Boston, MA and drive to Duxbury. Renting a car at the airport or via the Turo app is advised. Uber/Lyft service in the south shore area is limited.
Train
For our NYC friends who'd rather not fly, we've taken the train from Penn Station to the Rte 128 stop in Westwood, MA multiple times. It's a scenic route, cutting through nice stretches of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Mass. For a faster ride and more modern train, consider the Amtrak Acela.
House Or Rental
If booked in advance, Airbnb and VRBO accommodations near the venue are plentiful. Ideally, you should book your stay in Duxbury, Brant Rock, Ocean Bluff, Green Harbor, or Marshfield. If options are limited, stays in Humarock or Scituate are also feasible—just expect a 20–30 minute drive to the venue. Again, please feel free to reach out to either one of us if you'd like to confirm that your accommodation is a good fit.
There are more local Airbnbs and Vrbos available in the Duxbury and Marshfield area than traditional hotels. We recommend coordinating lodging with friends or family who are also attending the events.
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
If you’ve never been to the islands, we highly recommend making the trip! Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are both just a short ferry ride away—typically an hour or two—and offer charming coastal towns, beaches, and scenic views that perfectly capture New England’s seaside magic. You can spend the day exploring or stay overnight at a local inn—both islands make for a perfect short getaway. We’ve linked the ferry schedules below for easy planning. September is also a wonderful time to visit, with mild weather and fewer crowds after the summer rush. If you’d like recommendations for places to stay or things to do on either island, we’d be happy to help!
Duxbury Beach is one of our favorite local gems! Spend the day walking the long stretch of sand, soaking up the coastal views, and exploring nearby beaches along the South Shore.
Located at the very tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown is a vibrant seaside town known for its charming streets, local art galleries, and stunning ocean views. Spend the day strolling Commercial Street, browsing boutiques, and enjoying the lively atmosphere.
If you love Italian food and history, the North End is a must. Enjoy authentic pasta, seafood, and cannoli in Boston’s “Little Italy,” and wander through landmarks like the Old North Church and Paul Revere’s House. We recommend Mamma Maria for a special meal and Mike’s Pastry for dessert!
Known for its grand seaside mansions and sparkling harbor views, Newport offers the perfect blend of history and coastal charm. Admire the architecture and enjoy a cocktail with a view at Castle Hill Inn.
