A sophomore in college, having just quit the volleyball team, Ava started her first real job at Nordstrom in Boca Raton Town Center. She spotted Kev right away while their manager gave her the tour of her new workplace. Her first thought was that he was cute and quirky, there was no doubt she wanted to know more about this extremely fashionable guy who stunted Gucci glasses daily..... Kevin and Ava's eyes locked frequently at work and there was a clear attraction there. They playfully flirted in the Women Shoes Department, building a clear connection until Kevin invited Ava to a party at his house one night. At this party, with a little help from liquid courage, they had their first kiss! Since that moment they became inseparable. Not only did they work together but they couldn't help but stay with each other every night whether it was in Ava's dorm room at Lynn University or the Mesquita family home. After a few months of fun, they went on a trip to St. Pete to visit some of Kevin's college friends. The weekend was a blast and Ava seemingly got the approval of his friends because on the way home, Kevin proclaimed his love for her and asked Ava to be his girlfriend. They endured many ups and downs throughout their relationship, growing and blossoming into adulthood together. The journey began with sharing their first apartment about a year into dating in Deerfield Beach, a one bedroom where they expanded their family and welcomed in their new furry member, Oji. They endured covid together in this apartment and also escaped it through their many travels. They eventually moved into a bigger apartment in Boca Raton. Ava started spreading her roots here and building community with her new job and passion of being a yoga teacher. Kevin became fully committed to working within his family business at his parent's Brazilian Supermarket as well as being a property manager, using his real estate license. Kevin and Ava felt ready to take the next step together in life and started discussing spending forever together... There was talk about saving for a ring and Ava was excited but had no idea when the question would come. Each new adventure and travel they took, Ava would wonder.... "Is he going to ask now?" Finally.... In march 2023, they visited Thailand together. The trip was beautiful, they got to see one of their favorite musicians FKJ, explore a tropical paradise, hangout with elephants, and indulge in delicious foods. The second destination they traveled to in Thailand was Chiang Mai, where Kevin and Ava took a private car on their own chosen adventure. Sightseeing started with visiting sacred Buddhist temples and unfolded into hiking near a waterfall. They took a swim in the river and played on the rocks when Kevin got down on one knee in the river, pulling out a magical wooden box with a stunning ring and asked Ava, "Will you marry me?" Of course, she said yes! That's why we're here today..... Ava & Kevin chose to get married in Northern California because this is where Ava's Swiss Ancestors originally settled in the United States. These mountains, rivers, trees, and land all feel like the perfectly supportive and fairy-like foundation to begin their journey of forever love. They are so excited to start their new journey together as newlyweds and are so grateful you chose to celebrate with them!

Beautiful Lodging and Hot Springs with chill vibe.
It's North America's largest alpine lake and third deepest, bottoming out at 1,645 feet. The waters of this ancient, fault-formed basin are remarkably blue and 99.994 percent pure. We highly recommend seeing this astonishing place while you’re in Northern California! Ava and Kevin’s favorite hike is the Eagle Lake Trail with stunning waterfalls and a beautiful hidden lake at the end.
If you enjoy gambling, Reno is the perfect city to hang around in while you’re here. The Peppermill is probably the best place to stay with a ton of activities on site.
