Our Story
As a USC and Clemson alumni, you may wonder which of these rival schools Austin pledges his allegiance to. Perhaps Austin and Rachel's love story will help answer that. After Rachel confessed to having a crush on Austin to bridesmaid Cassidy, the not-so-subtle matchmaker decided to move things along for the two one night while watching a Gamecock football game. Cassidy exclaimed, "If the Gamecocks score, Austin has to kiss Rachel!" Needless to say, USC scored a touchdown, and the rest, as they say, is history. As the pair grew closer in the months to follow, Rachel and Austin decided to continue their journey together in Clemson as Austin finished his master's degree. The two enjoyed the slow-paced lifestyle, lake days, and local breweries Clemson had to offer as Austin, Rachel, and pups Django and Pippin became a family. While USC helped spark their romance and Clemson helped grow it, we may not know which school has Austin's heart but it's clear to see which girl does!

There will be a shuttle from the Seabrook Island Lake House located at 2319 Seabrook Island Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455. Seabrook is a quiet neighborhood community so guests should be able to safely drive back to their rentals from this dropoff point at the end of the night. Shuttle will leave at 3:30pm!

Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We would appreciate RSPVs as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate RSVPs after March 10, 2025.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire or semi-formal is recommended for the ceremony. No jeans.
Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive to the venue by 4:15pm. The ceremony will begin prompty at 4:30pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
We will provide vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free options. If any other allergies or concerns arise, please let us know!
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will provide a shuttle bus to and from the ceremony/reception to two central locations. One convienent to Seabrook/Kiawah and one convienent to the downtown Charleston area. We encourage everyone to make use of this if you plan on drinking. You would be able to utilize Uber/Lyft to get to the venue, however, no Ubers/Lyfts will be available to pick you up from the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is ample parking at the venue. If you choose to drive to the venue, please plan on driving the car home. We will be penalized if any cars are left at the venue past 8 am the following morning.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We are keeping this a kid-free wedding besides those in our immediate family. Take the night off and enjoy a fun date night! We have babysitter recommendations if needed.
