Our love story began on May 5, 2021, in Sarasota, Florida—an unlikely place for two lives to intersect, but the lord had other plans. I (Mariah) had just arrived with my best friends, eager for a few days of relaxation. Austin, on the other hand, was about to leave, wrapping up his own vacation. We visited Sarasota Village on our first night in Florida, not knowing that it would turn out to be a night that would change everything. We met briefly, had a lovely conversation, and discovered we lived less than an hour apart—him in Huntington, Indiana, and me in Grabill, Indiana. At the time, we thought it was just a nice encounter, and we probably wouldn’t see each other again. A few weeks later, some of our mutual friends decided to catch up in Indiana, and that’s when Austin and I had the chance to talk more. From there, everything clicked. It felt easy and natural, like we’d known each other for years and It was clear right away that we shared a special connection. By July 3rd, 2021, we were dating. Looking back now, it’s amazing how it all worked out. We were both at different points in our lives when we met, but somehow, our paths crossed at just the right time. We both know our meeting wasn’t by chance—it was part of a bigger plan. God’s timing is always perfect, even when we don’t see it. We’re so thankful for how He’s worked in both of our lives leading up to that moment, shaping us into the people we needed to be for each other. We’ve said it a thousand times: we are so blessed to have found each other. It’s almost hard to believe that we lived so close for so long, yet we met in Florida, of all places. We know it’s all part of God’s plan, and we trust that He led us to each other at exactly the right moment. We feel incredibly lucky and thankful, not just for each other, but for how God has guided us every step of the way. We’re constantly reminded of how much He’s done for us and how He’s blessed us in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Our relationship is a testament to His love and grace, and we can’t wait to see where He takes us next. We’re so excited to continue this journey at the place we first met, together as Mr. and Mrs. Sills, knowing that God’s hand is in every step. And we’ll never take for granted how blessed we are to have found each other, just when we needed it most. Now, if that’s not an invisible string love story I’m not sure what is ! Love, Future, Mr. and Mrs. Sills
