With more than a century of history, Pike Place Market is the oldest continuously operating farmers market in the country and one of Seattle’s most popular draws. The market lures visitors and locals alike with its farm-fresh produce, butcher-paper clad bouquets, abundance of shops, restaurants, and bars. From wader-clad fishmongers slinging salmon to street buskers playing for passersby, there’s always something going on here. Open daily, 7am -4pm and free to visit
The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle. Considered to be an icon of the city, it has been designated a Seattle landmark. Located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood, it was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair. General admission for adults is $35-$43 and includes two levels to explore and see 360° views of Seattle
Chihuly Garden and Glass is an exhibit in the Seattle Center directly next to the Space Needle, showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. The project features three primary components: the Garden, the Glasshouse, and the Interior Exhibits. General admission tickets are $29-$38 and can be purchased online.
This is a 75 minute tour and is Seattle’s most unusual attraction, a humorous stroll through intriguing subterranean storefronts and sidewalks entombed when the city rebuilt on top of itself after the Great Fire of 1889. Tours are everyday, start on the hour and are about $20.
Kerry Park is a small public park and viewpoint on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill. It overlooks Downtown Seattle and on a clear day you can capture a perfect picture of Seattle, Elliot Bay, and Mt. Rainer in the background
Bainbridge Island is easy to access from the downtown ferry terminal. It's a 30 minutes ferry ride across the Puget Sound. You'll find eclectic boutiques, scenic vistas, welcoming accommodations, and outdoor adventures. The Main Street is about a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, while theres also free public parking. Bainbridge is also the birthplace of Pickleball! Vehicle & Driver are $18.65 roundtrip and adult passengers/walk on are $10.25 roundtrip.
Discovery Park is a 534-acre park on the shores of Puget Sound in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. As the city's largest public park, it contains 11.81 miles of walking trails and dogs are allowed! The West Point Lighthouse is located on West Point, the westernmost point of the park and the entire city of Seattle.
