Our wedding will be Black Tie, so we kindly ask gentlemen to wear tuxedos or dark suits with a bow tie or tie. Ladies, we’d love for you to wear long, floor length dresses, and since we’ll be ringing in the New Year together, we encourage you to embrace the festive spirit with sparkles, metallics, or anything that makes you feel glamorous!
Most of our wedding will be inside, but for midnight celebrations we will have an outdoor terrace with a view of the space needle! So bring a jacket or outer layer if you’d like to enjoy some fireworks!
If your guest's name is listed on your invite, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
We love your little ones, but we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. Since our festivities will begin later in the evening and continue into the New Year, we want all our guests to be able to relax, enjoy the night, and celebrate stress-free. Yes, our hotel block is at our wedding venue! We have a very limited amount of rooms included in our room block and if you would enjoy to stay at the hotel with us please text or call Austin or Madeliene for more information.
Yes, parking is available at The Edgewater Hotel. The hotel offers valet-only parking on a first-come, first-served basis. It is $30 for the day and $65 for overnight parking if you will be staying in the hotel. Alternatively, there is metered street parking and a self-park garage located across the street. We also recommend Uber or Lyft if you prefer not to drive or plan on drinking.
The night before our wedding, please join us for an evening of welcome drinks at Otter on the Rocks in West Seattle. We will be hosting drinks for the first part of the evening, and once the initial offering is met, the bar will transition to a cash bar. As food options will be light, we recommend enjoying dinner beforehand to fully indulge in the relaxed ambiance of the night. On New Year’s Day, we invite you to a casual, laid-back lunch at Old Stove Brewing in Pike Place Market. Enjoy the freedom to order food and drinks at your leisure, and stay for as long or as little as you like, we'd just love to see you one last time and thank you for making our wedding day so special!
