We met in school, we aren't even sure when. It's possible it was middle school but we became best friends in high school. We would spend time together with our friends or at Austin's house playing video games or listening to bands that we both liked. We always had so much fun together. Austin had even came to the hospital the day after Rylee was born to meet her! We continued to stay in touch after school, hanging out every few years when we could through our busy lives, moving around and Austin's service in the military. When we would meet up, time had passed but our level of friendship never changed. We got to reconnect when Lauren moved back to Houston and started spending more time together. Neither of us wanted to make the first move in fear of ruining the friendship but Austin decided to make the first move. The rest is history! When they say to marry your best friend, we now understand exactly what they mean. It's never a boring day with each other. :)
