Daileny and Austin met in December 2023 through mutual friends at Christ Fellowship Church in Miami. Their paths began to cross more often when Austin started serving in the church’s student ministry, CFS. By the summer of 2024, it seemed like everyone around them was cheering for their story to begin. Daileny caught his attention. For a while, Austin admired Daileny from afar, wanting to get to know her heart before taking a step forward. But in September 2024, he decided it was time to pursue her intentionally. What began with friendly hellos, small conversations at church, and a few Instagram messages, led to their very first date on October 4th, 2024. Even with the nerves of a first date, there was something undeniable between them—something greater than either of them had expected. Just one week later, on October 11th, they officially began dating. On October 19th, they celebrated Austin’s birthday with a special dinner at Smith & Wollensky in South Beach. Afterward, they strolled down to South Pointe Park, where, sitting on a bench by the water, they exchanged their first "I love yous." From that moment on, their story has been filled with countless coffee dates, FaceTime calls, walks in the park, late-night drives, family dinners, and spontaneous weekend trips to Disney. Together, they’ve celebrated highs and weathered lows—always leaning on each other, showing grace, choosing love daily, and building their relationship on the foundation of faith. They spent many nights in deep conversation, dreaming about the future and sharing what truly matters to them. Through it all, they came to see that they had been beautifully and wonderfully made—by God and for each other. On April 9th, Austin asked for and received the blessing of Daileny’s parents. Just a few weeks later, on April 25th, 2025, he returned to the place where their love story first unfolded—South Pointe Park—and got down on one knee to ask her to be his forever. While this may be just a glimpse into their love story, it’s only the beginning. Daileny and Austin are so excited to take this next step together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
