What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code of our wedding is semi-formal, which includes knee- to floor-length dresses, formal separates, or a suit. Please keep in mind the ceremony will be held on grass so opt for a block heel over a stiletto. While we ask that you avoid wearing an all-white/cream dress, white/cream dresses with a floral pattern are welcome!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

To ensure we can start the ceremony at 5:30 pm, please plan to arrive by 5:15 pm.

Is there parking nearby?

Answer

If you plan to drive, there is limited on-site parking available at the Deane House with some accessible parking stalls. Publically available street parking in the surrounding area is free on Sundays (including our wedding day) or privately-owned parking lots can also be found if there is not available street parking. Please factor in parking/walking into your arrival time!

Please RSVP by April 18, 2025 so we can confirm the number of guests with the restaurant.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is more than enough, we appreciate you taking the time to celebrate with us on our big day. If you feel compelled to give us a wedding gift, we would be overjoyed with a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. E-transfers can be made to AuMoss2025@gmail.com and a card box will be available at the reception. We have accumulated plenty of things after moving in together 3 years ago so we do not have a need (or room) for more!

Can I bring a date?

If you have been allocated an extra guest (+1) on your invite you are welcome to bring whomever you choose. If you do not have a +1 designated on your invite, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate an extra guest for you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless your child's name is included in the invitation and RSVP, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate your child. We appreciate that it is difficult to find childcare so if you are unable to attend for this reason, we completely understand. If you're able to find childcare, we would love for you to enjoy a night out child-free!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

We are aiming to have gluten-free and halal/vegetarian options available. If you have any other food allergies, please let us know in your RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block reserved for our wedding. However, the wedding venue is in downtown Calgary, which has many hotel and Airbnb options depending on your preference. If you would like any recommendations or have any questions about different areas in downtown Calgary, let us know!
