Josh and Ashlynn met in July 2022 in the North Lobby of Church for the Nations (CFTN). It was a very casual meeting and not much to it. Ashlynn was beginning an internship at the church, and one of her responsibilities was to lead Hospitality for the church's worship team, Worship Nation. Josh was one of the musicians on the team. Through this experience, they became acquaintances who would talk from time to time. In February of 2023, Josh got offered a job working at the church to help support the construction of the Imagination Project (the church renovations). Ashlynn had already been working there coordinating events since July of 2022. This is when things started to change in their relationship. They went from having casual conversations to quick close friends. Their friendship grew very strong, and valuable eventually ending in them taking a step further into a romantic commitment by October of 2023. Entering into this part of their relationship, they knew that what they had was something special and significant. From the beginning of their dating relationship, their end goal was marriage. After months of spending almost every day together between work and dating, their bond began to strengthen daily! God has been so faithful to each of them throughout their lives, and their relationship. He has been at the center, guiding and leading them each day. Josh and Ashlynn have waited a long time for each other. Josh thought he would be married by the time he was 20 and Ashlynn well before now. They both have waited on the Lord and have been patient as God has helped heal, deliver, and transform them to be perfect for each other. They have not traveled the easiest roads, but they led to each other, and for that all of the struggles they have navigated have been worth it. They are BEYOND excited to partner with God in taking this next step of marriage!
