Drake and I first met at Mexican restaurant called Fat Rosie's in Naperville in 2019. Drake was on his way to dinner with friends, while I was enjoying a meal with my sisters and parents who had recently moved to PA and were visiting for the weekend. As Drake walked into the restaurant, he kept making eye contact with me. After we were seated, my family and I (with the exclusion of my dad) huddled to secretly discuss the cute guy outside, wondering if I should go say hello. My sisters thought it was out of the question for a girl to approach a guy first, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I might never see him again. My bonus mom gave me a little encouragement, so I decided to go for it. We exchanged numbers, and from that moment, everything changed, setting us on a path that would forever alter our lives.
