Our Love Story
Our journey began in Ashley’s favorite place, the city of Denver, where fate brought us together during a visit Ashley made to see her best friend. Little did we know that both of us both grew up in the Midwest, Ashley in IL and Zachary in WI. From the moment we met, there was an instant connection that neither of us could ignore. Despite the distance between Ashley’s home in Chicago and Zach’s in Denver, we embarked on a year-long long-distance relationship, cherishing every moment we could steal away to be together. The frequent flights and heartfelt goodbyes only strengthened our bond, and after a year of longing, we made the leap and decided to build a life together. It was a decision that led us to our greatest adventure yet—welcoming our beautiful baby girl into the world in 2024. Our love story is a testament to patience, trust, and the belief that true love knows no bounds. As we stand here on the brink of our wedding day, we are grateful for every twist and turn that brought us closer together. Are kids welcome?

It is a family friendly resort so, children under the age of 13 are 50% of the cost of an adult! However, we are limiting the children at the wedding to only those a part of the bridal party and immediate family only. We appreciate your understanding :)

What to bring and pack?
Answer
Packing for a destination wedding in Mexico requires careful planning to ensure you have everything you need for the wedding events and your stay. I’ve put together a helpful packing list: Clothing; Casual Attire: Light clothing suitable for warm weather (shorts, t-shirts, dresses, skirts). Swimwear: don’t forget your bathing suits Shoes: Comfortable sandals or shoes for walking and possibly dressier shoes for the wedding. Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and after-sun lotion. Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Travel Documents: Passport, travel insurance, itinerary. Electronics: Phone, charger, and extra chargers if needed! Miscellaneous; Mexican pesos or US dollars for tips, small purchases, etc. Water Bottle: DRINKING THE WATER IN MEXICO IS NOT SAFE FROM SINKS! ALWAYS DRINK FROM WATER BOTTLES AND FILTERED WATER AT THE RESORT TO AVOID SICKNESS. Weather: Check the weather forecast before packing to anticipate any changes.
