Itinerary
Wednesday April 22nd: Sunset Drinks at Magic Sands
Please join us for a casual BYOB beach gathering at 5pm to kick off our wedding week! Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit, towels, and chairs.
Thursday April 23rd: Two Step Beach Dive/Snorkel and Green Sands Beach
We'll start the morning at a snorkel and scuba paradise! This easily accessible shore site is perfect for all experience levels. We plan to rent our scuba gear from Jack’s Diving Locker. Please arrive at the beach by 9am. Let's keep the adventure going by taking an off road ride to Green Sands Beach around 11am. We will stop for lunch on the way. Please note this adventure requires an off road vehicle. Items to bring: Mask, fins, snorkel, towel, water shoes, reef safe sunscreen, water, and snacks.
Friday April 24th: Farmers Market and Kahalu'u Beach Park
Let's explore the farmers market, get lunch, and visit an incredible black sand beach that offers snorkeling and surfing! Time: 11-3
Friday April 24th: Welcome Dinner at Kona Brewing Co.
Please join us for pizza, salad, and beer at Kona Brew. The event starts at 5pm.
Saturday April 25th: Wedding Day at Papa Kona 4:30PM
Please arrive by 4:10 PM. Parking is available in the garage beneath the venue and parking can be validated for a reduced rate. Cars can be left overnight if needed. The wedding celebration concludes at 10:00 PM, but the party continues across the street at Lavern’s with a live DJ until 1:30 AM!
Sunday April 26th: The Day After Relax at Hapuna Beach
Relaxing beach recovery day, time TBD.
Monday April 27th: Hilo Adventure
Join us on the lush side of the island attending our favorite spots including waterfalls and black sand beaches. We will watch the sunset and stargaze on Mauna Kea. Things to bring: Swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, and warm clothes (it gets in the 40s on Mauna Kea).
Tuesday April 28th: Makalawena Beach
Prepare for a relaxing beach day at the most magical white sand beach on Big Island. This trip requires an off road vehicle or a 2 mile hike each way. Things to bring: Towels, swimsuit, chairs, snorkel gear, lunch, water, floats.
