How We Met
Maurice : Ashley and I first met when I just so happened to stroll through her job. She was walking to her office at MAC and I was probably searching for an Auntie Anne’s or Wetzel’s Pretzels. I was taken by her beauty, and I realized quickly that she was also very endearing. We started going on dates the very next week. Who would have thought I would have found a relationship that would feed my soul everyday since. As we got to know each other we realized we were kindred spirits; Two souls with forks in their respective roads, who chose the same path to walk down. As we continue to make this monumental journey, I learn everyday why I love Ashley so much. Ashley reminds me she is the one for me every time she invigorates me with a word, or gives me the spark of life with a thought. These statements are a testimony for those searching for someone or were lucky enough to have found your true love. I look forward to seeing everyone who supports us as we make a revolutionary change to our lives. Ashley : Some would call it fate, I would say our connection was divine timing. We literally bumped into each other as I was leaving my workplace and have been inseparable since. I was not looking for love as I was embarking on a new journey in my career. When I met Maurice I was immediately captivated by his charm and intellect. I could tell he was reserved and there was more to unveil but I was intrigued by his conversation and witty remarks. He was a true gentlemen, always clean cut, handsome and smelling oh so good. Maurice courted me properly and ultimately “swept me off my feet”. He has always been a man of his word, humble, patient, kind to name a few. Consistent and true to that word, he stood on everything he said he would from day one. We went on to see each other frequently and speak day in and day out. We just clicked, and the rest is history. Our love story is my absolute favorite, thank you for joining us as we embark on a new chapter.

Do you have a wedding registry ?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However if you wish to honor us with a gift , a contribution towards building our future life together . We have a registry tab on our website or a card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We are looking forward to seeing our friends and family dressed up for our big day. The dress code is all black formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or mid length formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit and tie , tuxedo or dress pants with a sport jacket. We would greatly appreciate it if guests do not wear shorts, short skirts, ivory , cream or colored formal wear.

Can I bring a date/plus one ?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation . Your invite will be made out to “ (Your Name) and Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

When do I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by August 4th. If we do not get RSVP by the date which we have provided. It will be marked as “No”. We will miss you celebrating with us, however we must provide total guest counts to vendors in a timely manner. As a result, we cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope that you understand.

What if I can’t make it to the wedding ?
Answer
Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP, “Regretfully Decline”. If you have RSVP that you are attending ,but find that you can no longer make it, please notify Tamara Telemaque 1(973)979-0674 via text. We kindly ask that you only contact the phone number above in the event you can no longer make it to the wedding. We would appreciate it if you could provide us with sufficient notice if you are unable to attend, so that we can adjust the guest list accordingly.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony, which means no phones or cameras . The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do,” on our special day. We hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony , feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like.

What time should I arrive ?
Answer
We ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes and it will give time to park your car, sign the guest book and find your seat.

What if I am running late?
Answer
We kindly request your attention to the timing of our upcoming ceremony. It is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we recommend arriving by 4:00 pm to allow sufficient time to park and take your seat. Please note that if you arrive later than 4:30 pm, you will unfortunately miss the ceremony and will not be able to enter until the cocktail hour at 5:00 pm. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Is this a kid friendly wedding?
Answer
We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults only event with the exception of a few that will be apart of our ceremony. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so that you can celebrate with us.
