While we absolutely adore all of the little ones in our lives, our venue has limited capacity and we’re unable to accommodate children during the ceremony and reception. We understand that an Outer Banks wedding may inspire a family weekend. OBX Endless Summer Childcare is a highly recommended local babysitting agency that specializes in vacation and wedding childcare.

Celebrating with you is our gift! We appreciate that you may have to travel a long way to celebrate with us and so, there is no expectation of a gift. If you do wish to give something extra, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our future home fund or have curated a short registry if you prefer a physical gift.

Our dress code is Seaside Chic—polished, relaxed, and perfect for a coastal, summer celebration. Think breezy dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or linen sets for women, and lightweight suits or shirts for men. The event will take place on a lawn, so we recommend comfortable footwear. Above all, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to have a great time with us!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is parking available at the First Colony Inn. Guests staying at the Surf Side Hotel are a short walk across the street, and there are many other accommodation options within walking distance.
