Our Beginning

April 2009

Bryant and Ashley met at the end of their freshman year at Millbrook High School through a mutual friend . They resided in the same neighborhood but never truly crossed paths until Ashley’s neighbor introduced them . After meeting outside of school, Ashley finally saw Bryant at school one day as she was leaving early . Bryant looked at her and said “you know you’re my girl now right”, after laughing Ashley realized he was dead serious 😊 There was nothing left to say. Through life’s roller coaster, moving from North Carolina to Maryland and back , 4 beautiful children, 15 years and an infinity amount of love, trust & understanding they meet you here together at the time GOD has ordained to become one ❤️

What time should I arrive ?

Prompt arrival is a must . Please plan to arrive between 3:30& 3:50 as ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM

When should I RSVP ?

Answer

NOW !!!! RSVP deadline is April 28th . No exceptions will be made after that date . If you know you will attend it is best to do it now while it’s on your mind .

Is there a dress code ?

YES ! Formal attire is mandatory . Shades of navy and champagne are mandatory . White shirts are accepted for men or women wearing suits or dress slacks . Gowns, dresses, skirts etc for women

Can I bring a plus one ?

Plus ones are included on your invitation . Please do not bring anyone not listed on your invitation as they will be turned away at the door .

Are kids welcomed ?

If a child was not included on your invitation or is not in the wedding party they will have to sit this one out. Essentially if you live within 3 hrs of the venue, your children will not be permitted. Thank you for respecting our wishes .

Parking is provided at our secluded venue . It is free and there will be a parking attendant

Is the wedding outside ?

The ceremony and reception will be in doors however cocktail hour is outside with a lake view

What can I expect at the reception ?

Answer

Our reception will include activities such as toasts, first dances, drinks, cake cutting, dancing and of course dinner. we also invite guests to take part in our send off at the end of the night . Please note, around 7 pm cash money records will be taking over for the 99s and the 2000s, so plan accordingly . 😊
