How We Met

It's hard to pin point the exact day we met. We were both working at Mars. I secretly thought he was cute but couldn't bring myself to say that. Apparently he was thinking the same thing. Eventually we both got a little bolder and started to get closer with our friendship. I invited him to my birthday party and that's when we both could tell, it was time to take this to the next level.

The Proposal

08/15/22

Bryan expressed interest in wanting to get professional beach pictures done while on our vacation in Myrtle Beach. I agreed and found a photographer. The day came and I was feeling horrible from the fun night before. Bryan did everything he could to make me feel better for our pictures. We went half way through our photo shoot when the photographer told me to face the ocean while she gets pictures of Bryan. Little did I know, she was yelling at me to turn back around. It took 3 tries and Bryan yelling too for me to hear them. When I did, I was met with Bryan on his knee with a ring in his hand. I will never forget what he said to me as I turned to face him. "I already asked your dad. I love you very much. Will you marry me?" Of course I put my hand over the ring so that nervous man wouldn't drop it in the sand, and then proceeded to smoosh his face against mine and mumble "YES" in between kisses!

For all the days along the way
