Adam was a part of percussion, while I was a flute player, but we still crossed paths. We had similar friends among the band members and spent a lot of time hanging out. In 2020, due to the pandemic, we could not march at state marching band in Casper, and instead had to video our marching show on our home field to send into judges. Right after the cold and stressful performance, we had sport pictures in the gym. There was a lot of waiting time and excitement. Adam and I ended up sitting next to each other in the bleachers and really got to talking over common interests. From that day forward we were inseparable, hanging out before and after band, during extra rehearsals and events, and texting in our free time. Overtime life took us different directions and we drifted as friends, but as fate would have it we started working the same job in 2022. We were in the same department and we started reconnecting like there was never a time when we did not speak. Obviously feelings grew and we became a couple, spending everyday we could together. We moved out of state together in June 2024, our first big move together. In October, Adam asked me to marry him, to which I said yes (duh!). Now we are planning our wedding together for 2025 and could not be happier. (Enjoy this picture of us from 2020)
