Flight
PLANES
The venue is roughly 2 hours from either Rome (FCO) or Florence (FLR) airport so for our US guests, those would be your best bet. There is also a smaller airport with limited flights in Perugia (PEG).
Train
TRAINS
Once in Italy, or if you're already coming from the EU, trains are easily available to Perugia. TrenItalia has a direct route from Roma Tremini Train Station to Perugia thats about 2.5hrs. From there we can either pick you up or pre-arrange a shuttle pickup with the venue.
Rental Car

We recommend renting a car so you have the freedom to explore during your time in Italy, plus it's the easiest way to get to & from the venue. However, if you're coming from the US you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit, which can be done easily and quickly at any AAA location in the US. Question
When should I arrive?
Answer
Immediate family & bridal party will be arriving to the venue and staying onsite beginning on September 24th. Official events for all guests begin with the welcome party on the 25th with the wedding ceremony taking place on the 26th. We will also have a relaxing pool day/BBQ on the 27th for all guests who would like to attend, though we understand if you need to leave to travel back home or are continuing on with other European travel plans!

What do I need to do/have to travel to Italy?
Answer
For our US friends & family, please be sure your passports are up to date and valid for at least 3 months past your arrival into Europe. Beginning in mid-2025, an ETIAS travel authorization may also be required for all US citizens coming to Europe- we will keep folks updated but it should only require a simple form submission & ~$10. For more info, check out the US dept of state's website on Italy travel requirements (or the comparable site for whichever country you are coming from). Austrians/Italians- you get the one-up on us here.

Due to this being an international destination wedding, we will need RSVPs by July 1st in order to make final arrangements with the venue.

While we love your kids (they're not ours, what's not to love?) our venue has a limited capacity so we will not be able to accommodate them. Plus, we want you to have fun, let loose, and not have to worry about littles when the Prosecco starts flowing!

We're never speaking again. KIDDING. We love you all and know coming to Italy is not a simple ask for everyone. While your presence will be sorely missed, we completely understand. As an option, we will also be holding a small, casual reception in the US on September 6th (since spoiler alert- we have to get legally married here first) so we'll share that info with you once plans are confirmed.
