The couple encourages everyone to dress in costume, rather Steampunk/Victorian/Gothic or just Halloween-y. Please be tasteful in your selections! The couple will be wearing Purple and Teal.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM. It is recommended to arrive about 5:30 PM to have plenty of time to park and walk in. Guests will be received about 5:45 into the museum.

Where do I park?

Answer

There is parking in front of the museum building and a parking lot across Chaparral, cornering with Hirsch St (Mesquite St is on the back side).

Where do I go when I get inside?

Answer

You will be greeted at the door by a museum associate. You'll be directed to the left of the museum (either by the ship, or via the gift shop) to the North Wing. The ceremony will be in the Dome Room. The reception will be in the North Wing Hall.

Can I bring my own beer/wine/liquor?

Answer

Alcohol will be provided by a caterer, and as such, it is against Texas (TABC) law to bring in outside alcohol. Please DO NOT BRING ALCOHOL into the museum.

I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

1. Best Western Corpus Christi on Shoreline Blvd (is where some family is staying) 2. Holiday Inn Downtown Marina and 3. Omni Corpus Christi Hotel All (3) of these hotels are downtown Corpus Christi within 2 miles of the reception venue and seem to have decent pricing.
