We met during our senior year of high school and built a strong friendship that became the foundation of our relationship. In 2016, while he was serving in the Marines, that friendship grew into something more. Our start was anything but traditional—we began our relationship long distance, spending the first five years connected through visits, calls, and messages until we were finally able to be in the same place. Over the years, we’ve faced and overcome many obstacles—challenges that have tested us but ultimately made our relationship stronger. In February 2024, we got engaged, and later that fall, we bought our first house together. Now, we share our home with our furry family and enjoy making it truly ours. We love traveling when we can, and spending time with our family and friends is one of our favorite ways to create memories. We’re excited for the future and everything this next chapter will bring.
Nos conocimos en nuestro último año de preparatoria y nuestra amistad se convirtió en la base de nuestra relación. En 2016, mientras él servía en los Marines, comenzamos a salir de una manera poco tradicional: a distancia durante cinco años, manteniéndonos unidos con visitas, llamadas y mensajes. Con el tiempo superamos muchos retos que fortalecieron nuestro amor. En febrero de 2024 nos comprometimos y, ese mismo otoño, compramos nuestra primera casa. Hoy la compartimos con nuestra Perritos, disfrutamos viajar cuando podemos y pasar tiempo con nuestros seres queridos, emocionados por todo lo que nos espera.
