We are reserving a few picnic tables for whomever would like to come. It's super casual, just a way to spend more time with our people before they go home! It's Women in Sports Night!

While we don't have a hotel block, the Inn at Northrup Station is close to the venue and a great option if you're looking for a hotel!

Options for Hotels
While there aren't a ton of hotels in Portland, we recommend Heathman Hotel, Air BnB, VRBO, the Inn at Northrup Station, Holiday Inn Express NW, and the AC Downtown Portland. Ubers and public transit are easy to navigate in Portland (and really cheap).

International Rose Test Garden
The roses should be in full bloom while you're here, it's one of Aly's favorite places in Portland (and right next to the Japanese Garden, the Zoo and Washington Park!).
Oregon Zoo
I know - a zoo!? But for real, it's a great zoo and they have a new baby elephant AND a baby orangutan. And is on the Max line! (Take the Red or Blue line to Washington Park).
Portland Japanese Garden
One of our favorite places in Portland. If you check it out, make sure to also go to the Rose Garden next door!
Powell's City of Books
Classic Portland and right in the Pearl which has some great shops and places to eat.
Portland Art Museum
Monet's Floating Worlds, a really cool exhibition about the Japanese influence in Monet's artwork, will be showing.
Hawthorne Asylum Food Cart Pod
A really great place to find a wide variety of food in one spot.
Lil' America Food Cart Pod
Another food cart pod - all BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ owned (and vegan/gf options - one of the trucks has my favorite dairy-free milkshake of all time).

What does semi-formal to formal mean?
Answer
It means dress up. Pretend you're going to the Grammys (but after 2010). We're not "dress code" people, but we love an opportunity to be elegant because when do we get to anymore? As Reba says, here's your once chance, fancy, don't let (us) down.

What if it's hot?
Answer
We'll have fans and Portland gets pretty cool after the sun goes down.

Will there be parking?
Answer
There are two lots right near the venue, or street parking is ample. It should go without saying, but this is Portland...do NOT leave anything in your car. Regardless of where you are, but especially in the industrial district we'll be in.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! There will not be liquor provided, but! there will be plenty of beer, wine and champagne (and Whispering Angel Rose for Summer).
