Our Story
It all started with a swipe — and a cute guy on a boat. What began on Facebook Dating quickly turned into something much more. From the start, we found ourselves laughing easily, talking endlessly, and feeling completely at home with each other. We’ve built a relationship grounded in humor, love, and the importance of family — the kind of partnership that makes everyday life better. We’re so excited for this next chapter and even more excited to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us. This venue was chosen for a number of reasons: from its relaxing beauty; to the importance family holds for both of our respective families. We each have grandfathers who were farmers. River Falls is particularly special to Annika as this is where her maternal grandfather was a Professor at UW-RF and where her mom grew up. For family and those who feel like family.

Where is the wedding located?
Answer
Lotus Ranch is in River Falls, Wisconsin - just forty minutes from Minneapolis.Please be aware that the ceremony will be held outside with the reception inside a barn with concrete floor. The restrooms are located a short distance from the barn, so we suggest that you plan accordingly for footware.

What should I wear?

Cocktail / semi-formal attire is perfect. Think comfortable, polished, and celebration-ready. Please note the event will take place on grass, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats.

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to park and get settled.

The ceremony will take place outdoors, and the reception will be held in the barn. In the event of rain, all events will move to the barn.
