Annie and Larry first crossed paths in 2016 in the hallways of the EB building at MRU. They had already been chatting online for weeks while planning a group trip to Seattle, but meeting in person instantly felt like the start of something special. Their friendship grew quickly, and it wasn’t long before they realized there was something more between them. On December 10, 2017, Larry asked Annie to be his girlfriend, beginning a beautiful seven-and-a-half–year adventure together—one filled with love, laughter, and Annie’s daily reminders about when they should finally get married. On July 31, 2025, Larry asked the question Annie had been waiting for… and the rest is history.
We will be personally inviting guests to attend our ceremony, attendance will be reserved for close family and friends. We look forward to celebrating with everyone at the reception!
Parking is available at Lot A. Guests will receive a QR code to register their vehicles prior to the wedding date.
We’d love for you to be fully in the moment with us! Please keep your phone tucked away during the ceremony. Our photographer has everything covered, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you!
This event is semi-formal. As the ceremony will be outdoors, please dress appropriately for the warm weather. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as we’ll be on grass and pathways.
Dinner will be served as a traditional Chinese banquet meal. Due to the nature of this style of dining, we are unable to accommodate dietary substitutions or allergy-specific modifications. Thank you for your understanding.
We are fortunate enough to already have our home filled with all the things we need, so we will not be creating a traditional wedding registry. In traditional Chinese weddings, guests who wish to give a gift often choose to give a monetary gift instead (often presented in a red envelope). For those who have asked, a cash gift would be warmly appreciated, but your presence at the wedding is the greatest gift of all.
